Hi maxjohnson - yes....am hoping to really roll up my sleeves and get it finished before the end of the year - a more focused book (that I will likely self publish) that will tell the story of our dwarf tomato breeding project - to tie up all of the information of our unique, successful effort in one place!

I've got other book ideas in my mind as well....stay tuned!

You and others have given me the tomato "fever" . I live in Burlington , not far from you .
Although I can only have 6 plants in grow bags on my small condo patio , I share your enthusiasm for tomato growing . Addicted , on a small scale . Wishing you much success on your "journey" .

Sorry must be a slip of my finger while typing fast or late at night, I meant to say I feel 'validated' because most growers don't like compost in containers so it was assuring to see someone else recommending it. I use a little more compost in fabric grow bags here in Florida, 60% potting mix, 40% compost and it seem to hold the moisture better. The fabric doesn't allow the mix to become anaerobic, I wouldn't go that heavy on compost in plastic containers.
