JPOP - Did you only grow dwarfs? On your 3 per EB, did you put 2 on the ends and one in the back, like a triangle, vs 3 in a row. It's great with all that foliage you didn't have leaf disease.

Also responding about the fused blossoms in the Florida thread.

Out my back door this very minute. Get this, calling for a high of 72 F Monday. Some amazing weather stuff for sure.

Hey Barb, 3 in a row w/ no foliage disease yet as the rugose potato leaf seem to be tough as heck. Just started getting humid last week so this could change overnight, and yes the earthboxes are dense like a jungle. Was hesitant to prune as these things shoot out suckers w/ heavy blossom clusters which also are growing fairly large fruit w/ consistent size to the early set fruit. Been very impressed and the taste on the tasmanian chocolate has been outstanding. Hope the later fruit stay as consistent w/ regards to flavor. However, although a solid tasting tomato, the Rosella Purple can not compete w/ the tas choc. We will see if the later fruit w/ the warmer weather helps as I have been seeing posts claiming the purples/blacks taste better in the warmer climates.

Holy crow that is crazy, the 3rd week in March buried in snow and then slush in 2 more days.

As mentioned earlier I would report the good with the bad. The 1st pic is of the unripe tomato carnage caused by collapsing stems from the weight of the fruit due to the likely onset of russet mites. The 2nd pic is the good from yesterdays harvest.

Thanks Ginny. Impressive yields for each plant. Had seeds for heatwave but never grew them before so I will let you know how they fare taste wise. Have grown the Roma before and they are heavy producers, but the last time I grew them over 5 years ago the yields were about 1/2 of this plant.

Today's harvest. Hade some Virginia sweets that were close so I picked them slightly unripe as I sprayed the plants tonight w/ Spinosad and did not want to worry about waiting to eat them w/ the newly applied chemicals. Then inspired by Worth's threads, made some fresh tomatoes w/ prosciutto de parma, buratta cheese, roasted red peppers and fresh picked basil to accompany eggplant parmigiana.

Are the brown ones Tasmanian Chocolate? I like the different sizes.

What are the red ones?
