You will absolutely love it, Tracy. I was on a 2 week business trip to LA several years ago and went on a short live aboard dive trip over the weekend. We dove some sites around Santa Catalina Island, and a few others. There were several dive students onboard from Phoenix doing their certification dives. It was a really fun trip. You will need a 6 mil wet suit because the water is pretty chilly. (By the way there are only two temperatures in diving, warm and cold. Numbers are just numbers.) Life is so cool below the surface. You might see some seals or sharks. Sharks don't interest me too much. My favorite activity is to hover closely over a reef and watch all the things going on.

I was never brave, I always thought first about the risks
On Friday, my wife pulled me to the chateau Buchlovice and the castle Buchlov. It was the sixth and seventh castle this season. The next tour will be free. Pictures: The castle Buchlovice with its gardens and residents, way to the castle and the castle Buchlov. Vladimír |

Very beautiful pictures! Here in Maryland we would write a blank check to have soil like that. Looks so rich and loamy.

Today I really enjoyed Wimbledon. Lucie Šafářová from Brno played very good and won. She is my favorites.

Caves of Blanik Knights
An ancient legend says that a large army of Czech knights led by St. Wenceslas sleeps inside the mountain Blanik. The knights awaken to help the Motherland when she is in great danger. On Wednesday we went to visit this caves with our grandson. There is also an old tower and a permanent exhibition of garden ceramics. Vladimír |

Very interesting! I am enjoying seeing your travel pictures. Is there another purpose for the bronze balls on frames in the picture where your grandson is in the garden? Or are the balls just ornamental art? Is that an outdoor oven in the same picture?

I agree. What a beautiful nativity scene, and life size as well.

I agree, beautiful. Probably on public property, people in this country would be doing back flips about some kind of PC issue. I'm glad to see sanity and the Joy of the Season prevail in some parts of the world. Enjoy Christmas.
