I just read through this thread for the first time while eating my lunch today- it's very inspiring! Sounds like you're having lots fun with it and I hope you get some spectacular offspring this year. All the babies look so healthy and raring to go!

Pretty baby... earliest to flower at 48 days from seeding and a heart. Both good qualities so far. hopefully it tastes great too, we will see in about 8 weeks or so

Karen, I just discovered your thread today and am thrilled for you that you have a tiny oxheart mater growing!!!! (Nothing beats getting your heart's desire) Your efforts make me want to try crossing my own tomatoes now. :-)

Oh my god, I am holding my breath, I think one of my potato leaf Ludmilla's pink heart x Captain lucky plants is a heart. Perhaps these first ones are misshapen so needs to set some more to be sure but that is a definite point on the bottom of these first ones.
The other Biggest potato leaf plant has set a definite round beefsteak. in comparison wonder what color they will be. My dream tomato is a pretty, great tasting potato leaf heart. Can I be so lucky? time will tell. This is the most fun I have ever had growing anything. Karen |

Thanks!
I'm going to keep this one in the greenhouse for the summer because if one hailstone from a prairie boomer hits it I will have a heart attack |

From your 2013 seed offer Carolyn! Was excellent for me last year and the earliest full sized ripe tomato in my garden which is one of the reasons I chose it to try a cross.
Thank you! Karen |

Carolyn, who really should be thanking Reinhard in Germany from whom she got the seeds and he should be thanking Ludmilla who gave him seeds for several varieties and Reinhard added the word Ludmilla to all of them. But they are across the pond, so my parental rights take precedence.
