Galia melon.
Not too productive for me, but delicious green fleshed melon. Galia has the interesting property of slipping from the vine at the moment of perfect ripeness, so no guesswork about ripeness. Pretty compact if grown vertically. |

I have never grown Cream Of Saskatchewan but have grown White Sugar Lump. I don't know if these are the same melon but they sure look exactly alike. White Sugar Lump was on okay melon and I grew it 3 years in a row. I only got 2 watermelons per vine each year that I grew it, considering their small size, that is not very productive imo. As we all know, things like production can vary depending on growing conditions and such. Taste was okay. The novelty of a white fleshed watermelon was pretty cool though. Here is a couple of pictures. Mine were about the size of volleyballs. They were early compared to other watermelons. The lighting made them look a little whiter than they actually were. The pictures sure do look similar. I'll have to grow the Cream of Saskatchewan some year just to test my curiosity. We bought a couple small yellow fleshed watermelons at the farmer's market Saturday, probably cut one up tonight.

Loved those yellow dolls. Do not know anything about white fleshed melons.
