Forgot to mention Carbon Copy. Yesterday picked 2 small toms. They were a bit underripe. Was good never the less.

!0 days ago (9 June), I noted in my garden journal that several of the 'heart' tomatoes had fruit set : Sen Say, Zolotoe Serdtse, Anna Maria's Heart and Budenovka Pink. I plant my tomatoes in groups; hearts, cherries, beefsteaks, dwarfs and miscellaneous. The hearts (my favourites) were planted a few days earlier than the others. Five days later noted that there was fruit set on many varieties in all of the remaining 'groups'.

I have Sen Say, too, but I didn't know what it was. It's a red heart? or pink?
Is the name a misspelling of the word 'Sensai?' That means martial arts instructor. |

Surprisingly I have one set now the size of a golf ball on a Kentucky Beefsteak. Black Krim has a few set along with Sarah Black. The winner though is a plant I purchased on a whim labeled as German Red Strawberry but it clearly isn't, now that I realize that variety is supposed to be regular foliage and mine is potato leaf. It does have three nice size oblate fruit set on it though. No sign of set on my Pink Brandywine, Marianna's Peace or Ramapo plants.

I don't know. We just got back from an 18 day vacation and I discovered a ton of fruit set on every single plant when we got home late yesterday afternoon.

John, not sure if Sen Say is in fact a misspelling of Sensei, but I had the same thought. The seed came from Tormato's swap this year and I have it on my master list as a very large pink heart.
