Added Goose Creek to the mix today. Lone seedling that is pretty far behind the others but I am hoping for the best. It didnt get a very good spot (put it in time out so to speak) but I have had lone plants do ok there before. Beefmaster last year and Cherokee Purple in 2007. 21 plants total now and thats it.

edit to add: Leafminers are more present than last year, applied first round of Spinosad yesterday.

I've got all my tomatoes in the ground. All three. Sigh. I'm going to have to live vicariously through those of you with bigger gardens.

Oh and I have one in a pot! It's a volunteer I dug up from the yard. I figure it survived getting snowed on in mid-December and grew despite almost zero sunlight, it deserves a chance. It already has little toms on it.

Looking good! What type of critters are you hopeing to keep out with your chicken wire? I could see that working on rabbits and non-climbers. I'm always hunting for solutions for squirrels which enjoy toms immensley, well about 1/2 of one. They leave the uneaten half on top of the fence to let me know it was them and not some other creature.

There is a big dog in the backyard that is pretty careless and has trampled plants in the past. The other reasons is cats will use the area as a litter box if I dont keep the area fenced. It has worked well so far. The mesh is plastic and pretty easy to work with.

FlipTX,
Are you the one that grows 100 kids of beans? Take those out, put more tomatoes
Duane,
You have beautiful plants. The wind last night 'supercropped' my black cherry with flowers on it

Heh, no just four or so. Most of my garden isn't sunny enough to support proper tomato growth, but beans do well, so I plant them instead.

You are right, I should have added another Break O'Day or maybe Pink Berkley Tie Dye there

Looks like getting plants in the ground early paid off. This rain really infused some blood into 'em. They look a foot taller this morning than they did before the rain.

Less than 1/4 of an inch so far here in Corpus. I was hoping for more but the plants are liking it. Lets see what the next two days brings.

This picture taken in the rain but you can see that I will be picking tomatoes soon. Ouch ,I bet you hate me eh? Pecan trees sprouted leaves, so I feel kind of safe to brag. These are just the 28 hydropinic tomatoes but here is the list of all planted garden and hydro.
