My stepdad has a single shot .22 much the same. I think his is a Remington and has been handed down a few generations - not nearly as good of condition as yours. I preferred shooting that even when he bought me my first barrel mag semi-auto with a scope. The sights on it were terrific and dead on. |

I grew up with a Remington model 510 Target Master single shot.
My father forbade hunting with aromatic rifles. He told me that one day I might have to fight in a war and I needed to make every shot count. By the time I was 20 years old I was hunting running targets with a standard Rugar 22 auto pistol and hitting them on the first shot. I have seen people use 20 rounds on one squirrel and never shoot it. Worth |

Growing up if for any reason we even suspected dirt got in a barrel we cleaned it or went back to the house. If we shot it or not we cleaned the guns when we got home. It was a ritual, folks sitting around cleaning their rifles. Worth |

i have a rabbit that stares at me from my wicked neighbors driveway and taunts me, i feel like elmer fudd. he has gotten into my carrot bed, waits in their driveway for me to leave and I am helpless because I am in a school zone. If i could get him in my yard my air gun shoots 1300fps and would be quick work... this guy has no fear

17 HMR with a silencer.
That is what I intend to do with my Ruger model 77/22 22 magnum swap the barrel to 17 HMR. The bullets play out in no time even at 2550 FPS. Worth |
