That reminds me of the time the boss asked me what I meant by 'NFG' on a requisition form; that he didn't mind but other office staff who were more sensitive did. Hmm. What is wrong with' Not Found Good? ' All in the mind of the reader. More than one started to use NFG after that.

Upon further review, I believe what I posted earlier as Black Naga are actually Kraken Scorpion F3. The tag fell out, and I was guessing. Here is the one that was marked, the plants and pods looks identical: http://i.imgur.com/P5RQFjk.jpg

Those don't bear much resemblance to the Kraken pics I've seen, either in shape or color. How's the heat?
In any case, I would be surprised if Kraken is fully stable...

Searching google images for the two different varieties, I can't tell them apart. My pods are probably a little smaller from the plant being grown in a small pot. That plant is from seed that came to me in a non-tville swap marked 'Kraken Scorpion F3," I am fairly certain. But of course that doesn't mean that's what it is.

Your pods do resemble those found on Images. I recalled a more crimson, even orangey, color.

The plants that made the cut enough for me to save seeds were:
Roseto - tiny peppers, but prolific and beautiful Razzmatazz - a very small plant, very pretty, does well in 1-2 gallon pots, most edible of the ornamentals Chile Congo - neat little miniature plant, very pretty, very small, hottest of the ornamentals Mrs Jarvis - Grew bigger than Black Pearl, will try them in the ground next year. Black Pearl - prettiest purple potted pepper Fatali - my favorite pepper of the year Black Naga - can't tell apart from Kraken Naga Viper - smells like cherries, wicked hot Kraken Scorpion F3 - smells like cranberries and roses White Bullet Habanero (potted plant was a dud, garden plant was like a tree) Big Sun Habanero - best hab flavor, huge pods. Too thick-walled to dry on counter-top. Cherry Moon - best fresh-eating hot of the year, jalapeno heat, prolific I will include these with my upcoming seed offer after I get all my tomato seeds organized. I really really want to get in on your offer. Will you post/link to the offer in this thread Cole?

CR, thanks for the feedback! I will pass it along.
Anything that you had particularly bad experience with?

Sure, I will post a link when I have the offer up.
My Numex Halloween was a disappointment. It was a fine plant, but the peppers were supposed to be orange and black, thus the name. Mine were red and black. None of them ever turned orange. I had hoped to be able to sell the plants in October as Halloween decorations, thus my disappointment. |

Interesting. My potted plant did look that way, stubby white peppers that never turned red. I thought it was stunted from being in a small pot. The one in the garden is the biggest pepper plant I have ever seen: http://i.imgur.com/WuIS87k.jpg
It outgrew the weeds after I abandoned the garden in mid summer. This link refers to white bullet as a hybrid: https://www.cayennediane.com/peppers...llet-habanero/ It also says they mature to be white. There are also a Peruvian and a Yucatan white, but it looks like they also mature to white. The only thing I can find that is white and matures to red is a pic of a hab crossed with a ghost pepper. I liked Golden Treasures a lot. It is similar to Yellow Corno di Toro, but I think it yields better. |
