Hi everyone
Haven't posted in a while. Hope everyone is well. Due to tragic circumstances I lost my beloved wife late 2014 so things went very pear shaped. Here are some pics from our summer earlier this year. Didn't grow as much as I normally do but still kept at it. |

Heck yeah! I'm all for the garden haiku thread, I made my first haiku there in early Spring.
I blurt them out here and there, I find the tempo thing very soothing. A very good exercise while waiting in places or traffic jams. Tomatoville has reawakened the flower child in me. http://www.tomatoville.com/showthrea...=30169&page=20 |

Wonderful photos - those shots of the honeycomb were just stunning. Made me feel very nostalgic.

Actually, after doing some researches, I think I found some sort of Super Canestrino that I intend to grow next year. A friend of my dad has been growing this tomato since he was 12 and now he is close to 80. He did this in a remote area and his garden is not surrounded by others. Perfect. He has basically improved this tomato for over 60 years starting plants from seeds and saving plants from the biggest, ripest, most flavorful and most likely disease resistant tomatoes. I've eaten them and found them fantastic. I'm looking forward to growing them and sharing seeds in the future |
