Putting some of the F4 purple and F3 pink seedlings in the ground today. Eager to see what develops.

So 2019 F4’s were identical to the tennis ball sized green and purple fruit that are shown in the picture above with no surprises. I didn’t get any photos. Planting the 2020 F5’s soon. Eager to see if the results are similar. If so, I’d guess these could be considered stabilized.

I just saw this thread. I think what you are doing is pretty cool. I look forward to seeing what you get.

Thanks. I only plant 5-6 each season. If all of them grow out to be the same this season, I’d be happy.

So this is the 2020, F5 result. Indeterminate plant with about 20 tennis ball size fruit.
Taste is sane as last year. Very fruity and a bit acidic with a bit of a salty taste. Very happy with this variety.

Has the stripy colour variation on the outside changed in this generation?

I have been growing the similar fruit for 4 years. I will get a pic when I can.

This is from a 2017 multi floral micro dwarf grow out: explanation to me of a seed I grew out. Mine did not grow out to be Micro but the fruit was so good and the size of the fruit fit an area I wanted - large salad.

Tidy was the name of one of the Dwarf Project "families" I worked with - (Rosella Purple F4 X Pink Berkeley Tie Dye) X Pork Chop F2. I made a cross of the micro multiflora with an F2 of that family. The full pedigree of 33X is: (Red Robin X Rose Quartz Multiflora F4) X ((Rosella Purple F4 X Pink Berkeley Tie Dye) X Pork Chop F2). There is certainly no lack of gene diversity in that cross..... In one family of F3s from that cross, 30% or so were carrot-leaf (like Silvery Fir Tree). That's where those I sent you came from.

Here are the pic's: also the plant is large, indeterminate, and must be F6 or so by now. It is Dan Follett's Micro Dwarflist #33 on post #306 of Thread

Marc, I think this is very close to the Tomato you have. See previous posts. I just cut one up - there is a piece missing - I ate it - Yum!

There is a strain my cross that is exactly like yours in both size me and color. I have f6 seeds of it. I’ll try to post pics of it when I get a minute.

Did yours have the same parents as mine((Red Robin X Rose Quartz Multi flora F4) X Rosella Purple F4 X Pink Berkeley Tie Dye) X Pork Chop F2)??
I had a plant or 2 that had Silver Fir Tree traits as well.
So 1 reoccurring theme is a definite Berkeley Tye Dye!! no doubt in my mind.

No definitely not the same parents.
Mine was an accidental cross of Cherokee Purple and I’m beginning to guess Aunt Rubies German Green.

Here is a pick of the smaller strain. About the size of golf balls. Very similar to yours.
