We Need More Tomato Plant Pictures

Have you tried hanging foil pie plates, or other things in the garden to scare/discourage birds and other animals? Although my tomatoes are not very big yet, so far I don't seem to have issues with them, but when I planted, I put two of those red, plastic cups on top of my bamboo poles and they rock and clack together when the wind blows, so I thought maybe they were helping, but it's just a guess.

Orange Roussollini sold by MIGardener.

When he introduced this variety about 3 years ago, most of his seeds were crossed and the results were disappointing. I bought the seeds again and the characteristics look correct compared to his video; short, very bushy and strong rooting tendency. The fruits lacks the attractive point at the end, but reallyy can't complain.

Unfortunately Marsha left, but I'm grateful to her for sending me the Rebel Alliance seeds. I grow it more for novelty, but being a Star Wars fan it have an extra value to it.

I remembered that I saved some pictures from the 2018 Dublin tomato exhibition held in Dublin's botanical garden. I thought they might be interesting to post.

These are the tomatoes up by the house and they get sun from about 10:30am to about 5pm. They are much farther along than the others in the hot, all day sun in the garden which is where the new-to-me OP's I'm growing are located.

The Early Girl and Red Siberian are starting to color up. The Red Siberian is new to me this year and is just full of tomatoes. If it tastes as good as it produces, it's a keeper.



Rio Grande paste is also a new one for me and it's doing really well. Again, I sure hope it tastes good because I'd like to keep it too.

Warrior (F1) was a freebie two years ago and it's done well. This plant is from the last seed I had left!

Not sure if you mean my ones but 5 on the left are Gardeners Delight,
9 at the back and right hand side are Sungold ( very disappointing for me, all sorts of problems that the GD have not suffered from at all )
Then the 8 potted ones are two Red Alerts that are covered in flowers and there is 3 sweet million and 3 supersweet 100.
Also outdoors I have 2 sweet million, a red alert, 2 gardeners delight, 2 supersweet 100, 2 mountain magic.
But the outdoor ones are doing terrible, the glasshouse is essential here I would say.
