Picked cherries. This year we managed to overtake the white worms that nibbled at the fruit.

How I wish our winters were not too cold for good cherries! They look delicious.
Hmm, how is the hawk working out?

White worms are a bigger problem for us than winter.
Hawk flies with me for the second year and I'm happy |

Are the circles on the bottom green of the zucchini from the sucker mouths? I did not realize they were so strong! How did you ever think to feed them zucchini?
I used to have a tank of fancy guppies in my office, and some bettas separately as well. I love watching fish. I had to give them up when I retired because my cats won't leave the tanks and air hoses alone at home.

Yes, they are very strong in the mouth
Other species can pulverize wooden roots These species need wood for proper digestion. I have been breeding this species for several decades - it is omnivorous, although it should have a predominance of plant food. In addition to zucchini, they also like cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, cucumber and basically any hard vegetable You'd have to see how a larger zucchini is thrown in, cut in half lengthwise. Due to the fact that larger zucchini fruits have a thicker skin, suckers mouth will eat everything from the inside, and only the skin is left, like the hull of a sunken boat |

Very interesting! Are aquarium fish popular in general in Poland? Do you sell or trade your extra progeny with other enthusiasts? Is your Pleco of the 40 egg or the 200+ egg laying species? What percentage of the young can you expect to survive to young adult? As you can tell from my questions, I find fish fascinating!
To make this tomato related - I found I had my first ripe in-ground tomato yesterday, and it is a Stupice. Another one blushing in the same cluster. No more store tomatoes!

In general, aquaristics is quite popular in Poland.
Previously, I sold excess fish and plants to the aquarium shop. At the moment I do not have a private aquarium. This is from the photo we have in the office. Regarding this species from the photo, it used to happen that there were 200 pieces of fry from one spawning. As for keeping the fry to adulthood, it depends on having extra tanks. Then practically all the fry will survive. In my case, the fry have to fend for themselves in our aquarium. Only the strongest individuals will survive. To show you how many species of mouths sucker there are, click on the link https://www.planetcatfish.com/catelo...de=l&thumbs=50 Back to the tomatoes, the first one I picked was one of my Arctic Rose office tomato. I still have to wait for tomatoes on the plot, whether in the ground or in the greenhouse |
