I appreciate Carol’s dedication to us, ‘tomato lovers,’ and I know she is over worked. (and under paid).
She covers all bases, from the novice gardener seeking to pursue a rewarding hobby, to the more experienced tomato grower looking for the latest and greatest.
Her alternate site is on Bananzle http://www.bonanza.com/booths/carolstomatoes, a site that seems less demanding than Ebay, and may offer the seller more potential.
With the germiantion testing that must be done, and all the other daily chores Carol Knapp deserves high praise.

First I want to thank all of you that feel I'm doing a good job. I try hard to give a good product but at times get a bit behind on orders due to other work or occasionally problems with my Mom's health.

I also want to really thank several members here who have sent me some of their special family varieties or other varieties they just feel would be good to get "out there" on a small commercial basis. Having varieties like these makes me feel my site has something of a purpose in helping keep those varieties going.

Just a bit of an update for those that may have ordered from me before -- for several years I've used a small little balance beam scale for packing my seeds. It was reasonably accurate as long as I checked it and set the desired weight carefully. But I always made the beam go up with an overweight.

Last week I got a new little electronic gram scale. It's about the same size as my cell phone and weighs to 0.00 gram with accuracy of 0.02. Once I found a pan that worked for the seeds and used it a bit, it's a lot faster and definitely a lot more accurate. I still "overweigh" but it will be obvious to some that you aren't getting as many seeds as before in the mini pack. The packs now are closer to what I list on the web site of 15-25 for a mini and 25-40 for a full pack.

One reason I did this was because this year very few people were ordering the full packs and one customer wrote me back "how are you going to get me to order a full pack when you send so many seeds in a mini".

If all you need is a mini, that's fine and good and I will continue to offer them. But I also hope to offer larger size packs for those that need more seeds for selling plants or market growing of the great tasting fruit.

I really do appreciate all the support I've gotten from the members here at Tomatoville. This site rocks !!

I'm sitting here planning plant-assault 2, and one of the freebies (thanks by the way!) is labeled "new big dwarf"

is there any info available? I couldn't seem to find it listed on the website.

I believe I originally got the seed from Victory but I'm not totally sure about that. It's one of the old dwarves that were used as a parent in the dwarf project. I just happened to have a whole lot of seed from that one.

Yah, I really need to re-do my web site, the organization is terrible. But there never seems to be enough hours left over to get that kind of stuff done.

Carol,
While the "organization is terrible" the assortment is wonderful and the processing time is next to nothing, at least when I ordered. I'll certainly be ordering again and I urge any one else to also.

the website is fine, it never occurred to me to check the website vs the storefront, I didn't put the two together.
Generally I turn my mind off when I leave work, and it bit me this time

planted a couple chocolate cherry seeds a few days ago and had 100% germination (now it's up to me to not kill them).

Can't wait to sow a few of the other varieties for a late(er) season plant out.

One of the seeds offered is Resista Dwarf. I googled it and still can't find any information. Do you have any information about this variety?
