Pretty fruit! I’m sorry to hear about the difficult year you’ve had.
Hopefully next year will be so much better KarenO |

Hello Anneliese,
I wish you best luck with your knee. My knees are giving me hell today. Probably because I've been diagnosed to have Lyme disease. Sh.. happens. I can live with that. My toms have been hit with either Alternaria or Phytophthora, I am not quite sure which. 9 victims so far. The picture shows their "Swan song", i.e. the moment before they were completely stripped of their leaves and fruits. It hasn't been a surprise for me as it was very similar last year. Sh.. happens. My blight resistant varieties are doing fine. Picture 2. Milan HP |

Hello Milan,
your tomatoes are looking good! I think you'll get them ripe. I got Phoytophthora, too. I sprayed with my "Hexengebräu" every 2 days and that 4 times. Now they are looking good again. The next day you must cut all leaves that are black. Hexengebräu: 1 litre Water 5 gram baking powder (half sachet) or 4 gram bicarb 1 tablespoon rape seed oil 1 splash washing up liquid I use it for most fungues and pests In our German Forum they do not in rape seed oil, because the tomatoes get oily. but - I do wash my tomaotes before I eat them, so the oil is away.
