For no reason other than that's what I'm watching with my boy, and hearing him correct me and say "Cringer" when I say "Battle Cat" is...how does one say it...'Tis one of many benefits to this journey.

Gerardo, thanks so much for the one for Hally, since I haven't kept up with this thread and didn't see it until now.

Well I remember in the Fall of 2004 when I was relatively still mobile before I fell in Dec that she was outside in the backyard zooming around as I sat back there with many half bushels of tomatoes that my brother had helped me pick, setting up fermentations.

I think she got bored and disappeared. I went nuts,I didn't know where she went. Time went by and no Hally. I came inside, then saw the motion detector light go on and there she was at the front door with a frog in her mouth,

The only place she could have gotten that was at the base of the 30 ft waterfall next to my home.

I ask you,how many of you have had a 6 mo cat bring you a frog. For sure other cats have brought me mice and voles, no birds thankfully, but also one baby squirrel,

The question above was rhetorical so lets get back to the original subject at hand.

Carolyn, who still misses Hally and always will since I know now she will be the last of the pets who have ever owned me.

What a great feline she was. Pets are always missed, when you least expect it the most, just like all other loved ones.

Betta fish can be a good friend too!

Wouldn't have been possible w/o your generous seed offer. Thanks again.

BTW, the THTC have these bluish specks to them, could it be the blues saying hello as Ambiorix warns?

You're welcome. And I saw that. There was a Blue Beauty outside the high tunnel next to the THTC, and the high tunnel sides were up all summer. On the one hand, a new variety is exciting, but on the other hand, I don't want to lose THTC. I am glad I sent it to a lot of people.

Blues are all the rage now, but honestly, none of them impress me that much; it's just a novelty.

Hmmm, no frogs Carolyn, but Harley has brought me snakes several times. She used to have a doggy door in So Cal and would bring them into the house. :O
