Is german dwarf bush the same as extreme dwarf bush german? The 1958 Gleckler catalog that Craig has that is linked in Tania's website has a variety called Extreme Dwarf Bush. Tania says extreme dwarf bush german is aka extreme bush or extreme bush dwarf german.

Confusing!

I have never seen a dwarf called German Dwarf Bush. Looking forward to taking a look at this one.

Yes, I know there are some misspelled varieties on your list above, and some I'm wondering about as well, as in what is Giant Soldaki, does that mean Soldacki, and how is a Giant Soldacki different from the Soldacki I know, but I know you're no doubt going full steam ahead trying to get the seeds fermented, stored, website updated with pictures and blurbs and all that, so I'll just hold off on expecting to answer my questions until you have more time and your website is in place.

At least by my posting here I'll remember what I wanted to know b'c my memory is no longer perfect.

I ordered seeds online on Monday and received them in the mail today.
Quick I guess! (and exactly as ordered).
Personal emails from Glecker Seedmen advising my order not to be substituted
and to be mailed right away.

How come when I click on the new varieties which havn't been yet uploaded in the regular listings that I see nothing new.

I know some of the new varieties that you'll be listing Adam, as you know, but they aren't yet in the regular color categories.

When I click on New Varieties all I see at the left is the regular listings for 2010. Just tried it again. I went to the green when ripe and cherry sections to look for you know what and they aren't there.

I am a failure, so I'd better go to bed now.

But I was clicking on the link at the site that said NEW Varieties, and well, that was my error.

I had a good sleep Ami, and am now up and getting my order ready for the lady up the road who is going near a Chinese restaurant I like today and offered to bring me back some of my faves. And is also bringing me back another pair of these cheap reading glasses so I don't have to tote the prescription ones around in my walker basket.

I need them to use in my back room where I fetch and pack tomato seeds.

(We just hope that people understand we are trying very hard to get them listed and will here soon.)

The above from Ellie , Adam's wife, on the 14th. His Uncle who owns the family company Adam works for passed away and she said Adam was to be out of town thru yesterday.

Since their primary income is still from Adam's non-tomato work apparently there are a lot of questions still up in the air as to what comes next.

She also said that he had the pictures loaded but had not yet written the descriptions. And since there were several errors in spelling with the list Adam put up here I had offered to either help outright and/or help with spellings since he did that quickly and probably has the correct spellings anyway.

Lots of folks, and I don't know who they are, have been sending him varieties. It's a tremendous amount of work to process all the seeds and the rest having a full time job elsewhere. As I recall he was to add about 100 more varieties.

I've been back and forth with Adam/Ellie, b'c Adam is donating seeds for three varieties for my seed offer. He is truly a very generous and nice person, that I know as do others here when many of us here helped out by donating varieties to him two years ago I think it was and some this past Spring as well.

I hope that explains why he's so late getting the site updated.

An update from Adam who called me this AM and I said I'd post it here.

He has not yet updated the site. he has finished the germination tests and we talked about the situation of getting all the blurbs written and I think he agrees that since the germination tests are done he'll put up the new varieties, I didn't ask about pictures, and write a short blurb which can be fleshed out at a later date.

I suggested he might want to write that on the Home Page as well.

Some folks in the south need and want seeds now.

As he said and I agree, most places add maybe 5 to 10 new varieties each season while he's trying to add about 100.

We talked in general about his faves and about how his two young kids dealt with Xmas this year as well.

And he definitely will be continuing his website and concentration on tomatoes despite the situation regarding the death of his Uncle and the family business.
