Panhandler, I guess when you get past the potash, the rest is what is in the micronutrients?

chalstonsc, I also tried to zoom in on the image of the box myself and see what the label said. I assume that those percentages are the "micronutrients." Never seen a box of the stuff with my own eyes though so I cannot say for certain.
I was wondering the same thing myself, because those are some gorgeous looking tomatoes. Those are mostly just the standard trace elements though. Not too difficult to find other products that have them.

well another fan here, as I'm a plant nut. I had a beautiful garden up north and having to start all over with what will grow and WHEN to grow down here.

I love a greenhouse as well, if I had one my mornings and evening would be spend in there, and the rest of the time I would be sleeping...LOL

To everyone/anyone using the 'weekly feed' (fertilizer, epsom salts, micro-nutrients)...how do you apply the feed to containers? Do you just sprinkle the dose (tsp/tbs) on top of the soil away from the main stem, then water it in? I'm a bit confused here...a bit worried about accidentally burning my plants.

tn, the recommendation is to keep it 4"s from the stem. I dont grow in containers (use beds), but I would just apply it a comfortable distance away. Hope that helps.

My intent was to spread it in a ring around the plant, about three inches away...four might be a bit better.

TN, This is my first yr trying carolyns method. I just stay 4 to 5 " away from the stem and dig down one inch in a circle around the stem and sprinkle the fert mixture according to their instructions per 10 and 15 gallon containers and sprinkle in a table spoon of cal. nitrate, then return soil back over it. I feed once a week. When I fert, i water in well. I haven't had any problems with root burning that I know of. Your plants will really like it
