Craig, this is a great gift - I love getting these older seed that are closer to the original source. Will grow them out next year! Thank you for the Burcham's - I was unlucky enough in the past getting impostors from two different sources, and I am keeping my fingers crossed for these to germinate and grow into the real thing!
Jeannine, that's perfect! Thank you. I will be watching my mailbox now. The seeds started to arrive!

And you got your PM in just before I sealed the envelope - so Dorothy's Green is included as well!

Tatiana, I still haven't sent any seeds but will do so in the next week or two. Before I send, I'll be sure to refer to the PM you sent me, and will send everything you requested + any you listed me for as an alternate too. Will drop you a line right before I do so as a general last minute "is there anything else that comes to mind?"
Edit/add - I'll also flesh out my original source info and year/quantity of seed I'm sending at some point, either by editing the earlier post I'd made in this thread and/or on the seed packs I send. Sorry about that, was having some eye problems when I made my post, could barely see and just quickly listed what I knew I had available to send. Edited my earlier post to include more information and seeds will be mailed 8/25: http://www.tomatoville.com/showpost....8&postcount=31 |

You can put the seed source / year on the packets or here, whichever way is easier for you. No need for any Aunt Ginny's seed - I got plenty from Remy, and Darlene sent me my own packet back, so I should be good!

I received the seeds from Craig last week - thank you so much Craig!!!
Real treasures, some old, but very close to the original source, which I value so much. I put them into the 'grow in 2012' box, so they are ready for the coming spring.

Suze, Thank you for the update!
Received more seeds from Lurley yesterday. It was an awesome thing to brighten my day which was not going very well. I am still in a great mood today, thanks to Lurley!

Tania, I'm so sorry to report that I can't send you the Orange Minsk and Tarasenko-6 seeds - late blight has killed a lot of my plants and I wasn't able to get one single ripe fruit of several varieties. We had a lousy rainy non-summer here... clara
PS: All the best to you and above all: May your health problems come to a good end soooon!!! |

Tatiana,
I see you are still looking for Sugar Beefsteak. Rob (TV name Rob) is growing it. I took pics of it in his garden. He loves it. I'll ask him for seeds or a couple tomatoes to get seeds. Remy

But I don't know if you're already desinated someone for backup for OM if Clara is the primary provider. After all, you only asked me for two primary varieties, and those are for a search mission later in the Fall and then two backup varieties for I guess someone who has them as primary varieties. So please just post here if you'd like me to add Orange Minsk to my list. At first I couldn't remember what was on my list and wanted to check it to see if I was a backup for OM so I started looking in my saved e-mails, totally forgetting that you'd PMed me about them. Once the brain cells turned on I was fine.
