With the Seeds Swap almost over, hopefully ye'all got what you need / want to grow out in 2016.
Even if you are not yet sure in details, not to worry. Most of us have 3 to 4 months before sowing seeds. Prolly I will do it just about 3 months from today, on or about March 10. I might start a few dwarfs ( like HGT cherry)couple of weeks early. I am sticking my previously published grow out list. But when the nurseries start selling plants , I might pick a few more that I like. Gardeneer |

My 2016 grow out list is a work in progress. I have 149 varieties and only have in-ground space for 30 and 10 containers for my Dwarf Tomato Project selections. If I have any spitters or mediocre selections on this list, please let me know!

Grand Total = 36 plants. A 30% cut back in number of plants compared to 2015. Not bad. But I am not also growing any chili/capsicums. I have some extra seeds of most of them ( except F1 and Blue ones). if anyone is interested. Gardeneer |

%%%%%%% I do encourage you to make your offer of seeds in the trade subForum of the seed Forum where you can list which ones you have and you can also say no trades needed or wanted. I'm suggesting this b'c there's been a problem here of late of folks requesting seeds from a thread as well as directly PMing someone for seeds and that last one has put several folks at a great disadvantage in knowing how to reply. If someone has seeds to share they really should go to the trade Forum and list them. Thanks all, Carolyn

The sweet one million is just an improved version of sweet 100 and super sweet 100 is just an improved version of sweet 100. Super sweet is VF and sweet one million is VNT. Both are less susceptible to cracking than sweet 100. So for me the choice would be sweet million and sweet quartz. Two different tomatoes. Worth |

After growing super 100 and Sun Gold I decided not to grow them for more than one reason ( small , cracking My cherry size is Hahms Gelbe Topftomate. I am growing it just as ornamental. It does not get taller than 10". My other small size tomato this year is Riesentraube, mostly based on Worth's review. It should have large grape size fruits , as the name suggests ( Riesen ). Wish you all bumper crop, whatever you are growing. Gardeneer |
