I have read that some of the kitty litters are actually DE, same as floor dry. The only difference is that the first is scented.

You need to read the labels carefully to ensure you're dealing with something that is 100% DE and nothing else. Even with the floor dry products as some brands are not pure DE.

Floor dry is pretty reasonably priced. About $9 for a 40 lbs bag. I don,t think they have anything other than DE. But I'll read the label the next time.
