Barb here are pictures..
Below is when i first noticed the issue, maybe 4 weeks ago. It was more noticeable in person. Below shows how it spread. From all the comments the one that the leaves looked like most was iron deficiency which can be caused by being slogged down by water. Since only this plant of all the plants had the symptoms, I borrowed hubby's level and the EB was leaning. Leveled it and trimmed some of the worst leaves but not the whole stalk. Below is the same area of the plant. I took this photo within the last week. None of the other plants ever showed any symptoms and this plant seems to be ok now. Actually the plant has recovered more since the last picture above was taken. Ginny Last edited by Fiishergurl; December 7, 2016 at 01:23 PM. |

Another Question
Do you ever have plants stall in terms of fruit set?
Ginny and I were discussing this in the Florida thread. We both found that fruit set went from 95% to maybe 5% on plants that already have a lot of tomatoes. It's not a weather thing b/c other younger plants are still setting fruit. It seems that AKMark has constant fruit set over his season. Anything we should do differently? |

Ok so I have Flora Nova grow and the bloom and TTF. What would you guys recommend for inground? Like how much per gallon, alternating how often? Recommendations, opinions etc.

It would be a guess for me. I've only used the Floranova in soilless mixes, but I have used the ChemGro Tomato in-ground and not killed anything. Hardly any kind of credentials, but I will share what I know.
I used the ChemGro like you would MiracleGrow blue original water soluble. Tablespoon to a gallon, and water flower pots and around toms with that every 10-14 days. The flowers did better than the tomatoes and looking back I attribute that to not adding cal/mag into the tomato regime. These products aren't really designed for dirt, but that ChemGro Tomato super-charged my petunias. |

Thanks Ricky, I read comments on Amazon and some said 1tsp per gallon for in ground but I've never used anything but fish emulsion and kelp before. I wanted some for flowers to. May even hit my blackberry bushes with some.

Jeremy - TTF is 1 TBLS per gallon. I don't think it matters whether it is in real dirt or mix. If you buy TTF directly, you can mix/match the gallons - 4 for $99 plus shipping. Even though you pay for shipping, it comes out cheaper. You need to email your request. I've done it twice and no screw ups.
I bought the Floronova series also but really haven't used them. You would need to PH test/adjust them. The reason I haven't used them is they are still so dark when diluted, and my ph testing (drops) I can't really tell how much PH-UP I need. The TTF does not need the PH adjusted. |

Thanks Barb, I got a gallon of TTF for my birthday lol. Maybe I'll try doing the same rate for each on different plants to see which performs better.

Keep us posted on which performs better. Are you not happy with the fish / kelp? or will you do a 3 way comparison. I'm always big on doing comparison testing, but then something comes up (like a hurricane this fall) and out goes the best laid plans. |

I'm going to use the fish but I'm almost out and I'd like to try some different things this year to try to increase productivity. Nothing ventured nothing gained eh?
