The bumble bees do pretty well under stressful conditions (heat and cold). They have been selected on our organic farm, and we strongly select for plant vigor. If the plants don't consistently produce (well enough for us to carry their weight on our farm) they don't make the cut.

wish I could be in your neck of the woods this weekend! have to settle for an oyster roast w/fish/shrimp/hush puppy fry tonight instead... with an ornamental fire in drum to send off our Christmas trees...it's unseasonably warm here right now. Am bragging on your Bumble Bees, Bedouins and Bosque Blues LOL!
