When you buy petroleum fuel or LPG fuel you pay taxes to run that fuel on the road.
If you charge an electric car at home these taxes aren't paid.
I have no idea about any other charging stations.
How long is that going to last and how will they deal with it.
For surely they (((WILL))) deal with it when they start taking a hit with tax money coming in.
Something to consider.

Strangely enough, one of the surest models for reversing climate change is large scale nuclear war. Some models show a drop in 30 degress F which would shift the world's bread basket to Africa and some parts of Asia and South America.

Not that this would be a positive development.....(before someone accuses me of advocating this course of action).

Large-scale nuclear war is not necessary. Models of a limited nuclear exchange between India and Pakistan, with only four large cities destroyed (Delhi, Mumbai, Lahore, Karachi) show that enough soot would be generated to drop the global temperature enough to have July frosts in all of the temperate for a couple of years. I can't believe the stuff people would do to the atmosphere and basically be happy to make earth a survivable hell... for a big juicy fee of course.

We had no summer here the year Pinatubo went off.

Next year was business as usual, but of course, no summer can mean no food too if you're depending on crops in an affected area... or if the crops are sensitive to crappy weather.
