Also the 14th and no go yet. Patience is a
virtue. I wonder how much I have. However, this entire procedure is alike to a coin toss that may have less than a 50-50 chance. It's still fun taking a chance....JJ61 |

No pressure, Wildlife...well, maybe a little, but I'm sure you are up to it!
If you look back on page 1 or 2 - Carolyn says it could take months, and I remember stories of almost forgotten seed starting efforts, where people have noticed a seedling long after ignoring it...so who knows, maybe somebody WILL still relieve a little of the pressure...stranger things have happened... |

Nothing...I had planted the seeds 5 to a cell, and planted the other 3 cells with some varieties that hadn't germinated well the first time. Needless to say the varieties in the other 3 cells have long been transplanted into 4" pots...
I have tried, dark, cold, heat, wet, dry, and voodoo... I planted on 3/12.................... Jeanne |

I'm assuming the deafening silence indicates no luck with any other Hazel seeds. Wild, looks like it is up to you. Hope that the result is worth the stress  Any update would be appreciated! Mike |

Hey Mike
Plant is growing well. Nice color, stout main stem. There are 2 suckers almost large enough to remove and root. My weather has been both good and bad. Good (for me) that temps are cool, bad for the plants that the sun is always trying to get through the heavy cloud layer. All my plants are approx 1 month behind. Judging by the fact my Peaches usually ripe in April are not ready yet. The media is calling the weather "May Gray",and then there is the famous "June gloom" just around the corner. I feel this is a healthy plant and should make fruit. What kind? Wild "watching the grass grow" Life |

Guess it is time to give up. Oh well, looking forward to seeing what that one plant produces.

Hey JJ
Hope your plants are green and the flowers yellow! Plant is healthy. I took 2 cuttings and am rooting them. First flower cluster has shown up, 3 flowers on the Truss? To the more experienced... does this 3 flower cluster give any hint to the type tomato it is or is not? I am retarding the growth to get better weather and a couple backups(rootings). Then will plant them out. Wild "I hope they are gooood" Life |
