Bit of a change-up here with a windy day. Must be blowing off the icebergs because very cooling indeed. Sunny all the same, so the tomatoes in the yard were getting dried up both ways. It was too windy to do any transplanting after all, but I sure got the laundry done.

Just after sunset it is 60 F but the dewpoint... 42 F !
Wish I could share that with you Texan friends this evening.

So windy on the water. Clothes on the line, dry, heard the the empty-boat-trailer-on-the
bumpy-gravel road-sound, "oh thunder", ★★★★ed rain, clothes wet, then dry an hour later.

(no rain in the forecast)....did it again a couple hours later, then no wind, boats went
out, wind, boats came back....

Fleece jacket on, fleece jacket off...

Lol, at 60 degrees - I would freeze my butt off.

One of my stars thing was when I put an extra s in the word As. It was a typo

Took a walk on the beach at sunset and tossed on a scarf for the slight chill....

I turned the outside light off because it was too hot...okay, maybe not that bad.

It has been a while since we have had a low temperature below 80.

Oakly, you just got an extra rinse cycle on your clothes! I bet they do smell terrific.

Often they are out for days,

Oh, crap, they were almost dry, then rain...

For a few years we watched the locals to see what was a good day...
But they don't care either....leave it out and soon enough it will dry nice and crisp.
(we don't have a dryer, all line dried)

Ohhhh, lovely and blessed rain!! It's currently raining, YES! I don't know how much we are getting, but the temps have dropped to the 70's, and oh, it is glorious!!!

With the next 10 days supposed to be over in the 100's, it is a lovely and much appreciated break in the danged heat. I so do hope we get a goodly amount.

No rain here and it's 80 degrees with 79% humidity out there right now. I was going to take out some tomato plants today but have already changed my mind. When it gets light I will water and come back inside.

@oakley LOL. You gotta love those four season days.
I don't have a dryer either. I like the smell of clothes off the line much better... usually!
I had a row of socks out last fall that got rained on and turned sour... nasty smell that and I didn't want em in the house so I left em out for weeks. Eventually they smartened up and got clean.

Will be over 70 F again today and sunny, but the dewpoint this morning is still 45 F! That west wind is blowing over something icy, you can tell! And it's alright, I needed a cooler.

I hope it's just a bit less windy today so I can transplant a bit of lettuce and kale, without it blowing out of the ground.

I was up at rabbit oclock this morning, and there was bunny alright, feeding on a bit of oregano. Self seasoning, I say.

So I know they are about in the garden but haven't touched my little beans and beets tent, although they could easily get over the bit of row cover which has been flapping and slumped nearly to the ground. This is encouraging me to make free with such delicacies as lettuce in the ground!!!

With similar protection, of course!

A great start to the morning with 70f instead of 83f with a very slight breeze. Mowed the Ponderosa yesterday evening so am sitting on my gosh darn doodley enjoying the start of a new day. I keep thinking I should be pulling weeds out of a flower bed, but it's not gonna happen this morning.

It's 85 degrees and 68% humidity right now. I went out to water about 6:30 and a nice breeze had come in so decided I would water and take down two tomato plants after all. It's hot, but the breeze helped me get through it. Now I am drenched to the bone but I have less work in the garden tomorrow.
