From working in the greenhouse where I have a F thermometer I know that when it is 80 F in the shade I become a human sprinkler. The water rolls down my face like I was standing under a spout. Woe betide if you should wipe your forehead with the tomato hands... what runs down into your eyes is a burning mess! Gotta use your clean sleeve and hope it's still tomato gunk free. We're in for a cloudy warm day today, so I will enjoy my time at the farm greenhouse with hopefully no tomato gunked eyes!

You need a sports bra and two towels, lol.

And make sure it's 100% cotton, lol.

...Putting sports bra on the grocery/household list...

The weather people are all saying that today will be that last day of 100+F temperatures for the next week!
There's a lot of difference between 92F and 102F.

LOL, I'm telling ya, it works! Do I need to give instructions on how to set yourself up? LOL. As my husband asks me when he sees me with my towels into my shirt, "playing football again?"

At least our humidity is usually much lower than yours.

I think I would get too confused

There have been many times when I've used a wet towel to cool off my neck and shoulders. Also a wet T shirt isn't just for women

This is ridiculous, I have heard of letting water run to get warm but not letting it run to cool off.
I am trying to pre-boil some french fries to cook and the darn water is almost 80 degrees.

It's the same here with the water. To take a warm shower, you just barely crack the hot water on and turn the cold water full blast.

It did cool off here, it's only 99. Yesterday, it was 102 at this time of day.

I just heard it's 104 in Waco.

DFW is at 96 and the heat index is 109.

It is 101 on our thermometers. I stepped out the door to check the other one. The heat index is at least 110 here at the house. There's another thermometer out at the garden, but I'm not checking it - there's too much 'not in the shade' between here and there.

One extreme to the other here. Temps in the mid 70's dew points in the upper 50's and lows are supposed to be in the upper 50's the next few nights. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
