Thanks Swordy. Don't second guess yourself, there's always next year.
Aside form the striking good looks and great taste, what I remember most from last year's growth is: 1) this was the last plant I pulled out in the fall and despite its less than good condition, it was still producing, only the cold got to it, and 2) it was the last tomato I ate (I may have mentioned it somewhere before.) |

I'm growing three GGWT this year and I'm so excited to see how it does in Montreal. I'm very hopeful considering all the places it has been grown and has been successful. Started seeds Apil 3rd and yesterday all were transplanted into 4" pots. I'm kind of sorry that I'm not growing more of them but there are so many I want to try and have room for one of each. Green Zebra was never successful in my garden so it's my sincere desire to be successful with GGWT.

Nice to see so many growing it this year. I've already given away a couple dozen healthy starts. Have a dozen GGWT babies and will grow 4-6 and give some away.

I am not growing GGWT. but i can imagine it can start a good garden talk:
A== What is tomato is called ? B== It is called Girl Girl's Weird Thing . A== What you say " B== That is the name : "Girl Girl's Weird Thing".. A== How did come out with a name that long ? B== It is even a longer story ... enjoy the slice ! Gardeneer |

How does it compare with.. let's say, blacks, or greens?
Or is the flavor profile more like pink? |

I grew GGWT this summer and it is absolutely wonderful. My neighbors are asking for them now. My husband even likes it. A real winner.
