Brandywine Cherry Dark
Rl bushy plants set abundant fruit, which are about 2-3 oz. These are brown, they remind me of small Paul Robesons. Saving seeds.

Solar Flare
These are gorgeous little 3-4 oz fruit, on RL vines. Very good production in a poor season. Taste was great 8.5/10. Saving seeds....

Cut fruit- quite meaty, but also juicy, with a good amount of acid to balance the sweet.

Now I am getting encouraged, so I will share some other garden oddities.
This is a corky stemmed passion vine, wrapping itself through an ixora bush. This is a native wild passion flower to our state. |

This one shows our state butterfly, the Zebra Longwing's larvae, plus if you look to the left, a chryssalis, and between them is a pea sized green passion fruit, which I tasted. Bleccha!

Even though it has been hot, the yesterday, today, tomorrow bushes are starting to bloom. They are gorgeous when they are covered in blossoms.

I've seen a lot of butterflies here in Texas, but not a Zebra Longwing. It's a nice looking butterfly.
