A cold front moved through today. It was in the low 40's, sunny, and very windy. The cold air is quite dry.

Inside the greenhouse, it was 90, and thanks to all the water I have in there, the air had a pleasant humidity. It felt tropical. It reminded me of your microclimate comment. The plants under the small hoops are like that too, in regard to humidity.

Humidity is often considered to be bad for tomatoes, but when it is very cold and dry outside, they like it.

Operation Bug Out is now underway. Tomorrow's weather is a high of 32 and 1" of snow. I'm not even going to try to grow plants in a plastic tent in that weather.

I agree with Nicky, your seedlings are still small enough to remain safely in a nice environment. Remember you are a professional and you can't afford losing a whole batch of seedlings.

Yeah we are having a cold snap as well. Looks like March 16th before we are back to warmer temps. I have some plants in 3/4 gallon pots already. I also have a bunch of flowers like tropical milkweed, and several varieties of Coneflower outside. I am running out of room to put plants.

Same here. Wednesday night will be the worst, 24F.
March 17 should get back to sort of normal. Til then I will have to keep covering and carrying things back and forth to the garage.
I have sown some flowers and herbs in the cold frame. Some are germinating.

I was going to go to the garden and plant peas today, but decided to pot up some of my bigger plants, they were getting crowded in the 72 cell trays. Big Beef, Cosmonaut Volkov, Cuostralee, Goldmans Italian American, and a couple Costoluto Genovese.

Just potted up and getting some sun on my porch. Canestrino, Copper River, Arctic Rose, Ananas Noir, unknown poss. Brandywine potato leaf. Later I will have Bull's Heart, wasn't going to grow that one this year but my friends like it the best.

Tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, basil, broccoli, romanesco, Brussels sprouts, and Savoy cabbages, and lettuce in the cream cheese container

They sure do look cozy.
I started broccoli and lettuce/salad greens in the cold frame. Now they are out there in the garden.
I have also direct sown : Chives, scallion, parsley, carrots, cilantro, spinach and radishes. They are up and going. I have basil germinated in the cold frame. Gotta take the out and bring inside tomorrow night. It is gonna get pretty cold and nasty the next 3-4 nights.
My tomatoes and peppers stay in the garage over night when lows go down under 40F. Otherwise stay outside.
