Scott - And sometimes bad behaviour escalates. I dont know the details or extent of harrassment but I have been threatened by an individual who later murdered someone else. To me, your comments make light of what can be a very traumatizing situation if you are the victim of such harassments.
Although my terrorism comment was joking I certainly advocate contacting appropriate authorities for threatning behavior. |

If we brought in the police every time someone wrote a rude email, half the country would be in jail. We make far too many behaviors criminal in our country. There are other ways to handle disputes or bad behavior rather than turning to the legal system. Just my opinion, but we should reflect on why such a large % of our population is in jail, many for tiny "crimes".

Thanks Scott, yes I understand your opinion but I did not understand the discussion to be over "bad manners." The solution to overcrowded jails is neither to stop prosecuting criminal behavior nor releasing criminals early. One of the solutions might be to return instruction on morality to public education. That ofcourse is another discussion and not one for this forum.

Back on topic.
Even assuming Penny Mohney didn't know it was copyright infringement when she first used other people's photos to (mis)represent products sold on her website, she has since been made aware numerous times, and to date has ignored all requests to remove them. A thief is a thief is a thief. Bottom line. No gray area.

Folks,
I have to ask you a question, so please bear with me, I have a very good reason to ask this - Did anybody here email them about this issue in an attempt to help me out? Since yesterday evening, when I brought up the problem here. Please send me a PM if you did (and I will explain you why I am asking about it). Tatiana

I haven't.
I do know they're following this thread, though. (It's not in one of the members-only forums)

NOt me but it did occur to me they would of course be following this thread. If I had contacted them, I would put my T-Ville "Mafia" name on it and tell them what I think of their low life tactics.

Linda,
One of the problems is they think that I lead the Mafia.

Referring to us as "mafia" is ironic, since they're the ones using emails to commit extortion.
They can make as many threats as they like. I will never remove this thread and will make certain it stays at the top of our forums, so that all of the search engine spiders index it forever. Anyone using Google, Bing, Yahoo, Ask, Yandex, etc. will see all of this when they search for their websites, will be warned of their unscrupulous business practices and then shop elsewhere. Penny Mohney and Joe Arditi: you're a couple of ignorant, lowlife scumbags. Not only do you outright lie, steal and misrepresent what you sell to your customers, you are unequivocally lacking in good character, integrity and class. To me, you're little more than the pesky hornworms that I brush to the ground and crush under my heel. Please continue to enjoy the canine testicular implant site, with my sincerest compliments.

Ok folks, let's cool it off a bit, I think there is lots of stir that I am very guilty of creating here.
Someone with a very cool head (thank you!!! ) just brought it to my attention that it is very possible that Pepper Joe may not have been involved in this. Given the content of the emails I got, I would agree that it is a good possibility, as I'd find it very hard to believe that two normal people would have been writing these together. The style of the emails is something that would very unlikely come from a business owner who cares about their reputation. One person is writing these (in distress) - is more likely. That alone makes me feel better about the situation.

Well, unless they are both illiterate, they should now have a pretty good idea who is in charge around here. Its a good day in TomatoVille.
