I can only dream of having this kind of customer service experience from other businesses. I ordered mid day on Saturday, got an email from Steve within hours saying they were in the mail and they arrived today. He also included some extra seeds for some early segregants of things he knew I'd have fun with!

Steve, I didn't even know it was possible to do what you just did! I ordered my seeds around noon on Thursday and they arrived before 11am today (Friday).
Thank you so much for the bonus package. I really wasn't expecting that for such a small order.

Hmm, I thought I was special! Apparently your customer service is that good to everybody!
Just wanted to say my seeds arrived all the way across the country yesterday, and I am having trouble not starting them right away! I think I will wait till my current seedlings are a little further along. But, even as I just made a pot of Italian meat sauce using a good quality canned tomato, I scheme of making my own homemade sauce. Thanks so much, Steve! |

Thanks for letting me know - the small, rural post office here is 15 miles away, but they do amazing job of picking up packages and delivering them to the next sorting station. Hopefully, this post office isn't a causality of the inevitable USPS consolidations! Thanks again! Steve |

Anyone with 'kilroyscarnival' as a username, is extra special!
I think you will be impressed with Big Ray's Argentina Paste. It, and Wessel's Purple Pride were two paste tomatoes (T'Viller) fortyonenorth sent me to trial last year and both excelled in our hotter-than-normal California summer. I'm not a sauce maker, so I am curious to hear your comparison between the 'finished' flavor of "Big Ray's Argentina Paste" and "Super Italian Paste" (and any other pastes you are growing). Thanks! Steve |

Thanks, Steve. I noticed Big Ray's is not listed in Tatiana's. I am still learning; does that mean the variety has a few hoops to jump through? I will indeed be able to compare it in flavor and yield to Super Italian and Egyptian, the two other pastes I bought. Assuming my small planting will not bear the mistakes and quirks of a beginner.
I chose KilroysCarnival because it tends to not be already taken. The poet Delmore Schwartz used it not once, but twice, within titles of his works: a short poem and a rambling, quirky monologue. That and I like the combination of images. Kilroy the wartime Everyman, and Carnival the universal celebration. |

Hi all,
I'd like to chime in on Heritage as an open-pollinated/heirloom tomato seed biz. We've done some trading, I've done some $, - Steve is open to suggestions; using his own or authorized photos, not re-naming, but intent on gathering the finest of fine. And all who order- will reap the benefits of Steve's passion. -Randy S.
