OK, BVV! Thanks for the 'teaser'. I'm very curious now! With that flavor combo, and the color combination, it can't go wrong

I have said before, it's like the truly perfect tomato. It's that gorgeous, that vigorous and disease tolerant, and taste almost a perfect 10, I say almost because nothing ever gets a 10 from me.

I have learned to take you at your word dear, our taste buds are apparently quite similar. Thanks again for the seeds, truly wonderful variety.

I agree- all of the varieties recommended by Marsha have blown me away this year- especially Rebel Yell, and I only tasted one tomato

I would say more like pink. But you have to let the light green stripes ripen fully to a dark red, as in the pictures. If you cut them when the stripes are orange, it is too tart. When red, the fruit is very juicy, and sweet. I am also impressed with the disease tolerance so far- my Cuostralees have both withered away.....

Hm, this variety intrigues me. Is it stable? Is it a mutation or a mystery variety or what, It's not very clear to me.
Also, how would you compare it to Pink berkly Tie Die, in terms of taste, just to get an idea (they look somewhat similar, PBTD being a bit darker coloured it seems). |

Thank you for the detailed description. PBTD is also one of my favourites, it's dependability is great, it doesn't have wild changes in taste like other tomatoes during the season, and it's suitable for containers, being reasonably compact.
