Just to get long-winded...
WANTS: Heirloom/OP only. Prefer shorter season. Would rather have 2 or more packs of things on my list (which was included in my package, etc.) Especially want 2 or more packs of these BEANS: -Doyce Chambers -Early Idaho -Mountaineer Half-Runner -Tennessee Wonder -Waterloo County Mennonite aka Mennonite Purple Stripe ...and 2 or more packs of PEAS: -Green Beauty -Opal Creek -Sugar Magnolia Beyond what's on my list for common beans, I have a slight preference for bush. Please add the edible shoot/pod snow peas if you can. DON'T WANT: Beans: -Wax (yellow or pink) -Filet-types, i.e. with very skinny seeds Limas - long-season varieties, like Christmas or Hopi Yardlongs - any Adzukis - any Soy - no unnamed or mixed Runner - any Teparies - any Peas: -Dry/soup - any -Snow - except for edible shoots/tips or those on my list However, I'm sure that whatever you send will include a lot of great stuff no matter what, so don't fret too much. Even the pea season here doesn't start for ~2 months so no rush to get mine sent. I appreciate all of the effort you put into this!! Chris |

Wishlist: Any pole, bush or half runner snap beans.
I don't really care for peas of any type. Ducking before the green pea lovers here see that. |

Leaves more peas for those of us who adore them.. I really like split pea soup, but always buy those peas because it's so hard and takes so long to cut each pea in half. |

I have only one specific request, and I'm sure you already know it Tormato: Jembo Polish. After that, I like... basically everything. I'm not picky and I love surprises!

you can have my share gladly. I saw a tip once to put cherry tomatoes between two plates to slice a bunch at a time. Perhaps you could do the same with peas using doll house plates.

Maybe the above is how "mushy peas" were invented, from the miscuts. |

Hello? imp how's your plotting coming along? Any one has happy legumes growing pics to show off?
I have some peas growing at the base of ginkgo tree and along the fence. Love how easy they are and how fast they grow. Tormato, any items on the wish list, snaps, bush, half runners, greasy, cut short, and short peas would be fantastic. No additional adzukis, edamames, limas, favas.. thank you!! |

No growing of beans yet, still snow on the ground and freezing here. However I am re-doing my garden plan to include some bean teepees to hopefully host 3 varieties each on. With the idea of maybe 5 teepees. That way I can have 15-20 (depending what else I grow) varieties to offer next year.
Also re-doing and adding like...98 more tomato plants so I can join the MMMM next year. That doesn't include my 100ish plants i'm growing out for the dwarf tomato project. Oh lordie, I think I caught the fever. |

I know I know. I might swap out one of the tomato rows for peppers...we will see I guess. I'm already growing 42 pepper plant tho. Sigh. I can't have empty space in the garden! (The horrors!)
If I can get peas this year I will be so happy! Hubby thinks he killed about 70-80 ground squirrels this year...(pea lovers!) I'm gonna start them 10 days prior to planting out so they are already sprouted and put a either cut soda bottles (24 running feet of them, once for spring, once for fall.) over them or put up a wall of hardware cloth around them. Sorry, rambling. |

Still waiting to see if the other lady comes back for those 5 plots... If she doesn't, I think I shall take them for the year. More goodies and more room for more goodies, LOL!! Glad your peas are doing well, sounds like you have a nice start working. |
