I don't know about others, but my old puter does not like google docs. It froze and then I got a bunch of pop ups from the site. I have to look for wishes on the Spoiler thread and post mine there too. The only thing I suggest if you do that is take whatever you get and put it in the freezer. The reason I say that is because most of those places don't clean out the bins fully and with them sitting wide open, tiny almost microscopic little bugs will be in the seeds sometimes and that way you can kill any hitch hikers that may be along on the seed hiding. |

If anyone else has the same issue, I would be happy to help you out too. (Gee, I hope that my puter likes google docs.)

Good idea Star. I am so tired of microscopic bugs.

ETA: and I would have no problem if the Have List was not an option and it was left to chance/wish lists. I am confident I would not be as patient and generous as Tormato, but since he is willing, I'm happy to send my list along Last edited by HappyGardener23; July 28, 2016 at 10:57 PM. |

Before buying any, PM me a list of what the feed store has. I wouldn't want you sending me the "Cherokee Purple" of bean varieties (that half of participants might also be sending in). |

Tormato, I already have some "Cherokee Purple" bean varieties that I know you don't need. Top Crop and Black Eyed Peas. I'll PM you in about a week.

Can you do a germ test with paper towel in baggy for bean seeds? I got some what I think is special beans. They a special heirloom. I didn't grow any this year, so want to make sure germ is still good on them before sending in.

You may want to contact fusion_power about test germinating. I'm thinking there's a thread, somewhere here at T'ville, about reviving old bean seed.

I have several questions.
1.) Is this swap just for tomato, pepper, and bean seeds? 2.) I don't have seeds to send in. I could help with postage for someone who wishes to participate who lives on a fixed income or who's budget is very tight. Is this possible? 3.) If # 2 is not an option could someone sponsor me, please? beasl004 I would be very interested in the German Queen tomato seeds. I wanted to grow some this year and couldn't find any for sale in the garden centers or farm supply stores around here. Starlight, I enjoy many different kinds of lettuce. I've been wanting to try some Chinese cabbage varieties to see how they do here.... |
