Maybe Indialantic stays a bit cooler. Its routinely 91-92 every day down here, from late May- June through about the 3rd week in September.
In Naples and Sarasota, they routinely get to highs of 94-96.

When you're next to the Atlantic Ocean it appears to make a lot of difference. My neck of the woods in Central Florida is 94-96 degree highs most days, with a couple of 92s recently(much appreciated), however we get the 97 and 98s as well. Not much change until well into September. It could be worse. The last time at was at the frontier between Nicaragua and Costa Rica it was 108. Try sleeping in that weather with no A/C, but believe it or not you do get used to it.

Right now is 2 degrees wormer than it is in Miami. Can you believe it?
Speaking of rain going around. My husband did a construction job years ago in a place called Tonganoxie and he is a GC. When he had to have concrete poured he would check the weather and want to cancel the trucks due to approaching rain. But a local guy on the job would say dont worry about the rain, this is the Tonganoxie split and the rain splits and goes around us. The local legend was that Indian spirits protected the area from severe weather that plagued some nearby areas. And sure enough every time it did miss them. We always joke about that when the rain misses us now, we say oh we are in the tonganoxie split! You can google it. Its a real legend but I think the myth was busted when years later a tornado leveled the area.

Crazy how hot it is here.

I do remember that. Gainsville was killer hot in the summers, stagnant no breeze at all, humid. Very far inland.

Yes that's true. Winter Haven (middle of the state, inland where my parents are) is almost always 4 to 5 degrees hotter than where I live in Oak Hill.

Ella did you get that rain this morning? Or did it split around you? My plants are loving it.

July has been the hottest I remember. I think the lowest high temp was 91 and the highest was 100. We have several days that were 99 but most are staying in the 94-98. There has been so little rain in my part of town but the beaches that is only 8 miles away has had no rain. And of course with all this humidity the heat index is even higher. I have been pulling a lot of plants because I can only work until about 9 am before it is just to hot.

Guilty also. I spent barely over $69 to get the free shipping.

One EB system - terracotta, $32.95
one terracotta container $17, one tube, $2 - I already had the screen... So it is like getting a new EB for $19
Filler Items to get the amount up:
Mosquito Dunks (on sale, not sure if the price was good)
2 pairs of gardening gloves (on sale)

---
I have 14 EB, but one is my neighbors that I gave her for Christmas so I will replace it with one of these filled with plants one will be a SunGold.

So I will end up with 15.
