Yellow Cabbage Collard free seeds.

I have enough Yellow Cabbage collard seeds for five request. Free for sase.
I grew these for the first time last year and they were very sweet and tender.

hey relichound, when did you plant them? Harvest them? What do you think timing would be down here at the beach? How big do they get?

You could plant them in early spring but I like to plant mine mid-summer to harvest in early winter. I think they are more tender when the frost hits them a little.

Arrrrgh - thought you'd say that! I don't have the space for them until too late in the fall. I buy 3 big collard plants every year around Thanksgiving & have a 2 day - cleaning/putting by time for most of the winter. They sound sooo good.

Jerry, I planted my yellow cabbage collard seed yesterday. I appreciate the opportunity to grow these plants. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and I will have lots of greens this fall and winter.

Good luck with the seeds. If you enjoy collards you will love these. Like all collards they are best when kissed by the frost.
