Default criolla de concina

Someone sent ma few seeds... sorry off the top of my head I don't know who, but it was a gift. can anyone tell me anything about it. I see it is a "rare" pepper from Nicaragua... but size, use, did you think it was a great pepper? any info would be appreciated. thanks. I will save some this Fall.... if I think they are great too.

Baker Creek sells it and has a pretty good description.

It germinated well for me but seems to like to dry out a bit between waterings.

My Criolla de Cocina seeds came from "roper 2008". I'll be growing it for the 1st time this year. Looks pretty good!

I probably should give it a try. Another TV member told me that Ajvarski (growing out again this year for me) comes out sweeter and more productive.

Do you grow any other sweet peppers as a reference point?

I grow to furnish a roadside stand and 3 farmers markets a week. so, uh huh! I grow yummy, bells, hots, pendants blocks a new one from baker creek and I can't tell you what its called. probably from Serbia. orange ruffled squatty... ... I am growing 100 flats for a farm market this year at least 18 of those are peppers. ... I grow. I will compare it to what I already grow. I always appreciate anyones input here because they really do grow. and have experience opinions not just... "it sounds good. let us know how it was"

The 2nd reviewer is likely the source of seeds to T'villians.

Ah, you are okay, scooty. Sometimes just keeping a thread going helps too.
