I thought this site had a very nice selection of relatively rare tomato seeds. I found a post from about 9 months ago saying some nice things about this vendor, so I thought I would make another post to remind folks during the "offseason" to check out some of the out-of-the-way seed vendors.

I stumbled across their site last winter and ordered a few packets. I thought they had an interesting selection of lots of veggies, not just the tomatoes. I only got around to planting one tomato variety from them last season and I never got to taste anything off either plant because I lost them both to Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus before anything was ripe. I did grow some of their Willow Leaf butter beans though, which were just great.

I've grown varieties of different crops from Skyfire and have had good results. The Djena Lee's Golden Girl tomato (which I'll provide a description for soon on Tania's tomatobase, http://t-garden.homeip.net/mwiki/index.php/Main_Page) was a new one to me that is quite good. Also grew a white zucchini variety that I really liked. I'll definitely get seeds from Skyfire again.

I ordered from Skyfire this year and was pleasantly surprised by the quick delivery. This order beat Sandhill by a couple days, when I really expected the opposite. The selection was somewhat unusual and the price seems fair. Everything arrived fine, and I have had good germination. I just wanted to report on a good experience with this vendor.

I have ordered 2 or 3 times in the past from them....Orders are filled fast, correctly, and nearly 100 % on pepper germination after 3 years still...Nice lettuce selection also...
