Lots of mine are cracking this year, Off the top of my head I would say it's because of the hard rain we had several nights before we got a couple of inches with in a few minutes. I'm not sure what else causes cracking, maybe I left them on the vine a tad to long?
Yellow Perfection is just a guess at the Variety. It fits but maybe it is something else, haven't ran across any other Varieties that fit the description. |

Nice pics!! Here we are in drought I believe we have had 2 good short rains the whole spring and summer. Cracking has not been an issue this year but has in others past.
