Gotta pay a little respect to that wonderful pork product we all love! YES, I went there

Bacon Spam Musubi!!

Slice it up

Fry it up

Make a teriyaki sauce with sugar

Throw it in the pan to thicken up

I got lazy and used leftover rice from last night, it didn't work well because it was too dry so I coated it with hot sauce and 1 beaten egg as a binder then put it in the microwave to set

BAM! Spicy rice log ready for teriyaki sauce and Furikake

Add a succulent plank, a little more sauce and wrap

Dear Lord, Thank You for the pork. Amen

Bacon is what got me into tomatoes. Bacon tomato sandwiches, which evolved into bacon tomato pepper sandwiches. Lettuce alone!

Bacon is so good it has two days named for it!

August 20th is National Bacon Lover's Day, and that should be an indicator of the power of bacon. There's already a National Bacon Day on December 30th.
