I have two PATIO PICKERS, about two years old, but I don't use them for tomatoes.
I think they are too shallow. Just bought 4 more! Apparently the same product is called patio Pickers at Lowe's. https://www.lowes.com/pd/EMSCO-GROUP...en-Bed/3341626 I have read about a plastic mulch, and a cloth mesh mulch. I have the cloth, and think I prefer this. Black plastic is going to be WAY too hot here. Last edited by Shrinkrap; April 18, 2019 at 11:59 PM. Reason: Not City Pickers |

I use white (in the summer) too, but these Patio Pickers don't have a white side. Last edited by Shrinkrap; April 18, 2019 at 11:46 PM. |

The caster wheels on them rust overtime and doesn't really move around smoothly anymore, especially since they're a bit small to hold the weight, so it's best to use the lightest potting mix possible.

What I did last summer on some of my earthboxes is use the professional weed block, that I already had, the real thick one. Cut it to size, and used staples to keep it down.
The covers are too expensive on their website. They use to be .99 Water gets through it, but it worked for me. |
