Default Need help in identifying this guy...

I purchased some plants in Seattle from a craigslist ad that had such descriptive titles for the plants as "yellow tomato, red tomato, red zebra, brown tomato".

So... I have no idea what their real names are. My "yellow tomato" and my "red zebra" have produced ripe fruit so far. The plant he had listed as "red zebra" is shown below. It doesn't look anything like a real Red Zebra tomato. Could it be a Black Zebra?

Looks like it could be black zebra to me.

That looks like black and brown boar from Brad Gates' Wild Boar Farms in Cali. I think it could be other things, but, that is exactly how BBB looks for me annually.

I didn't include pics of the the plants but I do have two B&BB plants growing as well! No ripe fruit yet but I'll get to do a comparison later this summer. I don't have a known Black Zebra growing for comparison however. I will say that the B&BB's (and Pink Berkeley Tie Dye's for that matter) have very beefy stocky stems. This mystery plant is more typical of most other tall indeterminates...

Here's both Red Zebra;

And Black Zebra:

And Googe IMAGES of Black Zebra:

And Violet Jasper;

Photography is always a problem but based on shape and the width of striping it looks most like Black Zebra to me.

As far as I know all of the above are much smaller than any of Brad's Boar ones,

When a variety doesn't come to someone with a correct label it's seldom that one can definitively ID something via pictures, so whatever this one being asked about seems to look like , speaking just for me, I wouldn't distribute seeds for it b'c of that and just enjoy it, if it's to be enjoyed, personally.

Wise words... and it was enjoyed. Quite tasty with a little smoked salt on it.
