Quasimodo the Extreme Dwarf Pimp

I posted a pic in another thread about a very little Tricot I got in this round of seedlings of Extreme Dwarf Pimps...His stem is way stockier, all over hairier..growing much slower than the other extreme dwarfs of the same variety, and in two weeks is only an inch tall....but unlike Poly (my polycot) from last year (R.I.P. Poly)...this guy is putting out leaves...First pic is a week ago...second is today..Should be a very interesting looking plant, and seems to be doing great...though minute in stature. Will update with pics as it "Grows up" The name I picked is Quasimodo...let's wish him luck...he is to be part of my micro tom cross if he does well..

I have a soft spot for the freaks and the genetically challenged plants lol

Well It's been six days later now (three weeks since he germinated) , so here's an updated pic of Quasimodo the Tricot Extreme Dwarf Pimp..He's gotten a bit taller now, and is doing very well under the lights. He's now at 2 3/4" tall. Yay! Very ruffled and odd shaped leaves.

He is certainly very interesting! His leaves look almost spinach-shaped.

Can't wait to see how it turns out and what kind of fruit you get.

Yeah livin,

That is a good way to describe his leaves! Spinach....Now he in all essence, should produce currant sized tomatoes...but with all the deformities, I am hoping not sterile...but a cute plant either way. btw I lived in Lillington NC for about 3 years, and worked in Fuquay when Tomsted Tunstiles was there...hehe small world.

It is a small world!

I don't know what year you were here, but if it has been more than twenty years, you wouldn't even recognize the place! The population has boomed and the little "one stoplight town" that I grew up in often has traffic backed up several places around town, especially on Fridays and Saturdays.

Everywhere you turn, there is another housing subdivision, or apartments, or strip of businesses going up. They say it's progress and some days I definitely enjoy some of the new conveniences, others I'm not so sure!
