Hot Rod Fertilizer Injector.
What I have is an old Miracle Grow hose end Liqua Feed fertilizer sprayer.
What I have done since it was stopped up i have taken it apart and cleaned it. While it was apart I bored the orifice/jet out to .040 of an inch. These Liqua feed Bottles you can take the cap off and refill them. What my intentions are is to use organic water soluble fertilizer in it. So far with my orifice it takes 1 minute and 46 seconds to empty the one pint bottle. The device puts out 1 gallon in about 15 seconds. They modernized my meter so I cant go to the thing and read it as I am doing this I called and it will be awhile before I can go on line and look at my meter. What a drag. What I am trying to do is figure out the mix ratio I need to put in the bottle. I am about there. I hate math. Worth IMG_20160303_3260.jpg |

I just filled up a pint bottle bottle 50/50 Alaska Fish fertilizer 5-1-1 with water and watered everything with it.
32 tomato plants 27 pepper plants some onions the potatoes the lettuce radishes and so on. The reason I wanted to convert it was the multiple spray patterns. I have no idea what the concentration is the bottle was empty when I was done. Worth |

I think I have this right I am running about 16 tablespoons through about 10 gallons of water.
More or less rounded off to 1.5 tablespoons per gallon. Each plant gets the count of 5 which will be a third of a gallon. Me thinks. Worth |
