Grow Bags

Can indeterminate tomatoes be grown in grow bags? If so, is there a generally agreed upon minimum size? Also, are the stakes placed in the ground beside the bag or skewered right through? What about pruning? Guessing they would need daily watering (?)

Sorry if these are dumb questions as I've never tried this before. I started so many seedlings and am just trying to think of ways I can possibly fit more of them in my garden

I grow them in 5 gallon and 7 gallon root pouches. I prune the indeterminates to a single stem.
I have them on a Rain Gutter Grow System.

Ricman on here grows in 50cent Walmart shopping bags, also on the RGGS. I've been told the walmart bag is approx. 7 gallons.

Thanks so much for the info!! I have a few 5 gallon grow bags and will try pruning to a single stem as you do. How interesting about the Walmart shopping bags- who knew?!

I use 10 gallon, and I prune to two stems for a beefsteak, more for smaller tomato varieties. You can see the plants in my Alaska tomato thread.
