A most helpful and TRUE chart, re: germination
Hi Folks ,
I ran across this site about 2 weeks ago, and it has a genuine WEALTH of information that propably would be of informative pleasure to yall, not to mention the site Author's good wit in writing. Browse his whole site Specifically, tho, i'm linkin to a page that discusses optimum soil temps for best germination results, for many vegetables, including Tomatos. The second table has been in-valuable to me, thus far, in achieving rapidest germinations from tomato, onion, cole crop, and lettuce seeds. It's a Keeper... http://tomclothier.hort.net/page11.html Title of this link is: "Temperature effect on vegetable seeds-percentage germination" |
