What is your largest tomato?

What did your largest tomato you have grown weigh? This is my 4th year of gardening and my largest so far weighed 1.96# on certified scales. Nothing crazy, but it was fun to grow and see how big it would get. I didn't do anything special to increase its size, it just happened from an infused blossom. I try to grow for quality and quantity with mixed results. I know sometimes nature throws a freak. What's yours? Mine was a Brandywine.

I grew a Porterhouse two years ago that came right in a 2lbs. For our short growing season, I was impressed. I haven't had any luck since then getting a large Porterhouse. This year I'm giving Big Zac a try.

A few years ago I had a Lehrer Tomate that was 1.88#'s.

Grew a Brandywine that weighed 20 ozs. Had a couple striped German close to that. Seeds were Johnnys. Hope to get a big one this year..

Last year I had a 2 lb. Kosovo. Grown in a container, one of the few plants that didn't get hit with herbicide drift. I posted a pic of it here but can't remember the thread.

I grew a Black Krim just over 1 pound. I mostly grow cherry tomatoes.

Hey Salt...was your Black Krim the typical black color? For some reason, my plant produced dark/blood red/maroon tomatoes with yellow shoulders toward the end of this season..still wonderful to excellent taste, but never seen it change colors like that...any idea why??

My largest was German Red Strawberry...1lb. 8oz..kind of meaty but good taste. Not as juicy as I had hopedd.

My Largest ever weighed was just a hair under 20 oz. That was an Ananas Noire,
I have had quite few over one pound like CP and Brandy Boy.
But I think I will set new record this year. I am growing lots of large fruiting varieties.

Now that is a mater! Beautiful shape too. I almost grew that one this year- alas, maybe next.

Cuostralee, Chapman, and George Detsikas Italian Red are the ones I've gotten the largest fruits from, so far. They were all about the same size (all about 2lbs). Chapman was by far the widest tomato, though. Cuostralee appeared to have a fruit that was the largest produced by the three varieties.

I had hoped to get larger fruits from at least Omar's Lebanese and what was supposed to be Delicious (it was potato leaf), but although they weren't small, they weren't 2+lbs.
