Neves Azorean Red vs Kosovo

Neves Azorean red is one of my top 10 tomatoes I grow every season. Excellent taste and production. I have not tried Kosovo. Not fond of "oxheart" tomatoes. Akers West Virginia is another good red tomato.

I grow both in my garden. Kosovo has been a staple since at least 2012. I did not grow it one year in that time and we missed it so it's never left out. I added in NAR in 2021; it too has earned an annual spot. Both are great producers. I am fond of hearts.

I'll take a guess that there may be a lesser variety in your plans, than those two excellent varieties.

My gardens have seen both Neve's and Kosovo for many years. Both are considered excellent for us here in southeast Nebraska; no comparison can be made between here and California that could possibly help. Comparing a pink heart to a red beefsteak is also difficult...they are both productive and tasty but in different ways. Two great choices. Any way to do both and then decide?

Can't speak to zone 9b, but here in zone 6b Kosovo is my earliest and most productive tomato, and a staple for many years. In fact it is all I am growing this year - it is that good! Big beautiful hearts that are great for sandwiches and canning!
