Pineapple Ground or Cossack
These seeds came from Stromymater, This plant is on my compost pile growing great finally loaded with fruit October 4th,.I see that Tina's website doesn't have these yet. If someone can tell if theses are actually Pineapple Ground, or Pineapple Cossack Ground. i will email them to her shots were taken today after 4in or rain in 4 hrs this morning in North shore of Ma.
Also they taste so wonedfull the tiny yellow fruit |

My suggestion would be to ask Stormymater the exact name of the variety she sent you.
As far as I know, it's difficult to tell different varieties of ground cherry apart based on appearance or a picture. I've grown Aunt Molly's and Cossack Pineapple (and something that was just sent to me as 'Ground Cherry') before, and they pretty much looked the same. And yes, they are very tasty indeed. |
